General

In
this role, the successful candidate will serve as a Retail Sales
Operations Program Manager. As a Program Manager, the candidate will
act as the central point of contact among Dell's operations groups, and
will be responsible for ensuring that Dell is able to deliver to
contracted commitments with its retail partners in the Colombia, Peru
and Venezuela. In addition, the successful candidate will play a
critical role in ensuring that Dell extends its competitive advantage
in the retail space by identifying and implementing operational process
improvements that speed time to market, reduce costs, and differentiate
the Dell experience from that of its competitors. The successful
candidate will be required to scale across the Dell organization and
interact with organizations as diverse as: Product Group, Engineering,
Packaging, Accounting, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing - the
candidate must have a desire to learn the role that each group plays in
the fulfillment of Dell's retail go to market strategy. In addition,
the successful candidate must possess strong written and verbal
communications skills as they will be interacting with Senior
Manager-level team members, and above, on a daily basis.



Specific Responsibilities




  • Establish
    and execute to a multi-step, multi-organization, product readiness plan
    in support of ongoing product launches across all retail partners



  • Engage
    with partners throughout the Dell internal value chain to ensure that
    all deadlines for configuration set-up and product shipment are met



  • Work
    with Retail Program Managers to identify areas for improvement.
    Participate in Kaizen events as needed with cross-functional partners
    to improve existing process.





Qualifications





  • As mentioned, strong communication skills are critical to success




  • Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus





  • High drive for results and the
    ability to deal with ambiguity. The Retail business at Dell is a new
    venture and as such requires individuals that have a "can-do" attitude
    and are comfortable operating in an environment that is not
    fully-defined





  • Demonstrated ability to deliver
    results and an attention to detail that ensures that no aspects of a
    product launch will slip through the cracks





  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience





  • General finance and business knowledge





  • MBA a plus.
