Talent Management Process Leader

An individual contributor role that is accountable for delivering
exceptional results associated with the design and execution of Talent
Management tools, processes, and initiatives.



Organization Development Process Leader

An individual contributor role that is accountable for delivering
exceptional results associated with the strategic planning of
Organization Development practice at Dell.  Ensures that Organization
Development goals best support organization effectiveness objectives. 
Performs the research development implementation and maintenance of OD
tools, processes, and initiatives.



TM Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement a program of integrated talent management and succession planning processes

  • Work with GTM field resources, BPs and HRGs to integrate talent
    management into business and operational strategy, and communicate
    those opportunities to partners and senior management in order to gain
    their buy-in and program adoption

  • OHRP, promotion and talent movement process architecture and management (criteria and considerations)

  • Serve as an internal consultant to develop strategic alliances with
    key partners in LOBs, and Human Resources in order to understand their
    needs and develop opportunities to partner with them.

  • Recognize and diagnose situations to integrate talent management
    and succession planning into business, operations and performance
    management practices.

  • Works with Global L&D team to support the effective development
    planning for employees at all levels by building critical developmental
    experiences into the people-planning process.



OD Responsibilities


  • Identify best in class organization development tools and processes

  • Design and develop OD and Change Management tools and processes including:

  • Engagement

  • Org Design

  • Change Management



  • Team development

  • Post merger/acquisition integration

  • Provide OD and Change consulting services on extremely complex cross-Dell initiatives

  • Ensure business needs and perspectives are represented in Corporate decision-making

  • Work with most senior executives to ensure that organization
    effectiveness is supported by the right organization development
    methods, techniques and evaluations.


 



Qualifications




  • BA or BS degree along with an
    advanced degree in a relevant field such as business, industrial
    psychology, organizational development, etc.

  • At least 7 years of work
    experience with solid career progression, including at least 5 years in
    one or more of the following disciplines: talent management, succession
    planning, business strategy development, business operations or
    organization development (HR generalist or management consulting
    background preferred).

  • BPI/Lean/Six Sigma experience and expertise  highly desirable

  • Significant experience in successfully integrating talent management into business/organizational strategy

  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of organizational structure and corporate dynamics

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
